How to Partition Hard drive in Windows8

Hi Friends,

Today i am going to  share, how to partition  Hard drive. When we buy a new laptop or desktop. we see It has only on Drive, That is C Drive. We fell uncomfortable  to use only one drive. And sometime we also want keep our file in separate drive, so how we will do it,  because It has only one drive, Don't make yourself confuse. I am going to tell you today how we can make one more drive in  hard drive.

Click start menu logo(click right button in your mouse)

One window will open, then select Disk Management 

 Then a window will be open like that

  Now select to press right button which drive you want to partition and Click Shrink Volume

The selected drive will be shrink. now  enter  your desire space
 ( It will be MB,1GB=1024MB)

Now the window will appear you a new drive. Then click the new drive (right button) Then        click  New Simple Volume

A new window will open like this

click next, again click next, in this window you can  assign  your drive latter
(C, D,F, I, K ,X, Z, etc) . Then click next

Then keep NTFS formet and Give your drive name. Click next new window will show  you your past created all data. If you think ok or not ok you can go back again to click back button than finally click next again.  Now your new Drive  will be  appear. That's all You did it.
